Dental plasters

Impression plasters are used by dentists for making an impression of patients’ teeth and gums. Our modelling plasters are used by dental laboratories to make study models and the working model which serves in manufacturing orthodontic systems, removable prosthesis and fixed prosthesis: crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays

Medical plasters

BPB Formula’s plasters are used in the medical sector, for manufacturing sterile plaster bandages, limb supports, medical prosthesis and hearing aids. In this domain, our plasters are chosen for their excellent quality and grade, and capacity to accurately reproduce limbs, both in shape and dimension.

Bandages are manufactured through a process involves soaking a woven fibre material in a plaster solution, which is subsequently dried. Plaster bandages are fast and practical to use; soaked in water, the moistened bandage is applied to the limb, hardening rapidly, to form a resistant casting, which does not lose shape.

Modelling plasters are used in Orthopaedics as impression and modelling compounds. Limbs are moulded in plaster to serve as a pattern for artificial limbs. Plaster also serves to cast limbs or articulations which will facilitate the fitting of prosthesis.
